MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN KING

Exciting things are happening in King, NC! MADIK (Make a Difference in King) is working with the community on a great adventure to create the first all-inclusive community-built playground. The local students have contributed “dream designs" for the playground designer.

“Play By Design, LLC”   formed these dreams into an extraordinary masterpiece for the town of King, Stokes County.

This “dream” playground will find its home at Recreation Acres in the heart of King, NC on Fall 2017.

However, this community built “dream” will only become a reality with YOUR help. Together the community is making the dream a reality through sharing the exciting news, gathering support, sharing skills, and strengthening teamwork. Community members in King

along with the rest of Stokes County and other nearby counties. Local businesses are already coming alongside the team to bring

the “dream” to King, Stokes County North Carolina.
As we begin this process and countdown the days until our build date in April 2017, we’re in need of YOUR support to meet our goal. Keeping in mind of all children's needs, future low maintenance and the longevity this “dream” playground is estimated half the size of a football field and will only be $300,000 from start to finish, with a community and county benefit that is priceless. Those who participate in this process will have an amazing opportunity to invest in our children by giving them a safe place to imagine, create, play, and grow.  
We want everyone to be able to have a part in the process!
